D-Worm Directions and Recommendations

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Take D-Worm exactly as directed.

D-Worm can be used to treat adults and children aged 2 years and older. The dose of D-Worm may be different for different patients. The number of doses you take each day, the time allowed between doses, and the length of time you take the medicine depend on the medical problem for which you are taking D-Worm.

For common roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms:

Adults and children 2 years of age and over - 100 mg two times a day, morning and evening, for three days. Treatment may need to be repeated in two to three weeks.

For pinworms:

Adults and children 2 years of age and over - 100 mg once a day for one day. Treatment may need to be repeated in two to three weeks.

For more than one worm infection at a time:

Adults and children 2 years of age and over - 100 mg two times a day, morning and evening, for three days.

D-Worm tablets may be chewed, swallowed whole, or crushed and mixed with food.


D-Worm Precautions

Tell your doctor before taking D-Worm, if:

you are allergic to any medicines;
you have Crohn's disease, liver disease or ulcerative colitis;
you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
